Quote Of The Day

"Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore, Dream, Discover." - Mark Twain

Never Surrender: Rockys Inspirational Speech!

"Let me tell you something you already know. The world ain't all sunshine and rainbows. It is a very mean and nasty place and it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain't how hard you hit; it's about how hard you can get hit, and keep moving forward. How much you can take, and keep moving forward. That's how winning is done. Now, if you know what you're worth, then go out and get what you're worth. But you gotta be willing to take the hit, and not pointing fingers saying you ain't where you are because of him, or her, or anybody. Cowards do that and that ain't you. You're better than that!"

The words spoken by Rocky were truly inspiring and have the power to possibly change lives.Although this speech was from a movie, it still has an huge impact on todays world. A lot of people when something goes wrong, don't take the time out to face responsibility and learn from their actions, and instead they blame somebody else for their wrong doing. Even though this principle of pointing fingures may appear to be a quick and easy way in eliminating your problems by pinning them on somebody else, it actually has the complete opposite effect and harms you way more. For example, now that you blamed someone else for your mistakes you didn't learn from those mistakes and will move through life repeating the same old mistakes. TAKE RESPONSIBILITY!

Quote Of The Day

"Only those who will risk going too far can possibly find out how far one can go." - T.S. Elliot

How To Set Goals And Accomplish Them The Right Way

Are you  a person who doesn't like setting goals? Well this video is great for you. It illustrates how to properly set goals in a way that will enhance your chances of accomplishing them. Great advice by Eben Pagan (you might know him as David DeAngelo from The Double Your Dating Series ) as he suggest that we need to use our biggest asset, which is our mind. He states that before we begin writing down our goals we need to imagine about what our future will look like before taking the pen and pad out.

The Five Year Plan

The five year plan is the foundation of becoming successful in whatever field you chose. It consist of taking time out and on a piece of paper writing down what you want accomplished in the next five years. Studies show that it is very effective if you read your five year plan every day which will recondition your mind in a way that will work towards those goals.

The five year plan has been used by a lot of successful people, including rap mogul 50 Cent. He has a sickening work ethic and all his success in the Hip Hop industry is a result of his five year plan. Recently when asked how did he accomplish his long term goals in such a short time his response was specifically targeted around the five year plan.

"I create a five-year plan and then I accomplish it in a year or so. Things happen at a real rapid pace for me. Recently, I did a film with Val Kilmer and Sharon Stone called Streets of Blood. I play a police officer. While I was shooting, I said I wanted to eventually start writing and producing films. So I created a film-production company. I just opened this office, ideas that were part of my five-year plan happened this year. I thought it would take ten years to get to the space I'm in now."
