Everything Has A Price
Every successful person knows that everything has a price. Being broke has a price and being successful has a price. Your going to have to pay the price for whatever it is you choose to do. Just make sure you are doing what you truly want to do because a price has to be paid. You want success, the price to be paid is sacrifices, lack of sleep and whatnot just to name a few. However, the benefit is greater. EVERYTHING HAS A PRICE, PAY THE PRICE TO GET WHAT YOU WANT.

Jay Z On Building A Legacy

The meaning behind Jay Z's lyrics: The director in his line above his death, he's trying to express how we should lead remarkable lives that will build extraordinary legacies that will live well on after our last breath, so when death finally does approach we'll still live on in the hearts of billions. That is the meaning at least to me about being "forever young."
