Everything Has A Price
Every successful person knows that everything has a price. Being broke has a price and being successful has a price. Your going to have to pay the price for whatever it is you choose to do. Just make sure you are doing what you truly want to do because a price has to be paid. You want success, the price to be paid is sacrifices, lack of sleep and whatnot just to name a few. However, the benefit is greater. EVERYTHING HAS A PRICE, PAY THE PRICE TO GET WHAT YOU WANT.

Jay Z On Building A Legacy
"Leave a mark that they can't erase, neither space nor time, so when the director yells cut i'll be fine, I'm forever young."
The meaning behind Jay Z's lyrics: The director in his line above his death, he's trying to express how we should lead remarkable lives that will build extraordinary legacies that will live well on after our last breath, so when death finally does approach we'll still live on in the hearts of billions. That is the meaning at least to me about being "forever young."

Don't Underestimate Yourself And Overestimate Others
Stop thinking others are better than you. No one is going to pity you, nobody is going to give out handouts. You are just as smart and just as good as anybody you have ever encountered. We all are capable of greatness. Stop with the bullshit excuses. Stop putting others on a pedestal. Put YOURSELF and your own abilities on a pedestal instead.
On another note, do something new for a change. I don't know about you, but I'm getting tired and fed up with the same old. I've made it a goal to do something new every month. I encourage you to do the same. Getting out of your comfort zone will open your mind and make you realize things you have never seen before. I saw a TED video about doing something new every 30 days, and have decided to take upon the challenge. It can basically be anything that your not accustomed to. From something small such as starting conversations with strangers to skydiving. Just do something. The key however, is to do something that you normally never would. I encourage you to comment below and let me know about what new endeavors you plan on pursuing if you decide to join me on this new journey.

Luck Aries From Action
Too many people wait on luck instead of making things happen. Those people are losers. You stick with that mentality and you wont amount to anything. If you want luck, the way you attract it is by taking action. Think about a time when you got lucky? Did it just land in your hands or did you have to take some form of action in order to get lucky. Lets take a person who wins the lottery as an example. That person got lucky because they took action by buying a lottery ticket. LUCK RESULTS FROM ACTION. You won't get lucky just sitting on your ass all day. You got to do something in order to acquire luck.
With that said, get out and do something. I know sometimes it's hard, but remain focused and driven. Self discipline is the key to success. Without self discipline we are nothing.

Success- How Badly Do You Want It?
The following article is written by Dr.Mani. Be sure to check out Entrepreneurs-Journey. You can find this article at http://www.entrepreneurs-journey.com/5769/success-how-badly-do-you-want-it/

The Secret Of Success
I’m going to tell you a little story.
It’s about a man who wanted to know the secret of success, and decided to find out from a Guru.
Now this was a wise, old sage who knew every secret of Life. He lived in splendid isolation on a mountain-top. Our hero set out on his difficult journey to meet this wise man.
He was determined to reach the top, and so he got over many obstacles on his way. Fighting through thick forests, scaling huge boulders, escaping from wild beasts, at last he clambered to the peak and lay on the ground, gasping for breath.
A few minutes later, he sat up… and beheld the Guru seated in deep meditation.
Silently, he waited. Almost an hour later, the Guru opened his eyes and glanced at the man. He raised an inquiring eyebrow.
The man stammered, “Oh wise and all-knowing seer, I come to you in search of the secret of success.”
The Guru didn’t reply. He simply stood up and started walking down the hill.
The man followed. He found it difficult to keep pace with the old man, who seemed to skip from one rock to the other like a mountain-goat. They walked steadily for another hour, and he wondered if they were going back to the foothills.
Suddenly, they came upon a clearing. In the middle was a clear lake. The waters were still, glinting softly in the rays of a setting sun.
The Guru walked up to the edge of the lake and beckoned the man closer. With a gesture, he asked him to kneel down.
Unquestioningly, the man did as the Guru ordered.
Suddenly, he felt himself seized by a strong hand at the back of his neck. His head was forced down under the water, and held there firmly.
“This is some kind of test,” said the man to himself, as he sat still.
A minute passed, and he was growing breathless. The grip on his neck hadn’t weakened. Another minute crawled by, and now he was getting anxious. His heart beat heavily in his chest, his throat tightened, and his lungs screamed for air.
He struggled to arise, and the old man’s grip became even stronger, pressed him further down into the water.
Now, the man was in a panic. He thrashed around wildly, trying with all his energy to loosen the vise around his neck. Precious seconds passed, and he felt his strength slowly ebbing away.
He thought he was going to die!
Just as he was about to give up hope, rueing his folly in ever coming here, the hand on his collar let go.
Violently leaping onto the shore, the man drew in his breath in heaving gasps. Delicious oxygen flooded his lungs. His vision grew clearer, the hammering in his throat slowed down, his hands stopped trembling.
And he felt a deep anger welling up from within himself.
Standing up, he faced the Guru and screamed: “Are you CRAZY? You could have killed me!”
The Guru simply stared at him for a long moment.
Then he spoke for the first time.
“You wanted to know the secret of success. Here it is. Do you remember, just a few minutes ago, how badly you wanted to take that next breath of air? When you want success that badly, you will have it. That’s the secret of success.”
Without saying another word, he turned around and walked back to his hilltop abode.

So…
How Badly Do YOU Want Success?
Ask any entrepreneurs if they want to succeed, and you’ll get a firm ‘Yes’. But ask them what they’re willing to give up, sacrifice, suffer, accept, tolerate and forego for that success – and you’ll get a wide range of responses.
A few expect success to be automatic, instant, effortless. We usually call these folks ‘dreamers’.
Some are willing to invest a little time and effort to get results, but won’t go beyond that, being satisfied with whatever they can achieve, or grumbling that this isn’t going to work anyway.
And a very small minority are able and willing to give it their all. They don’t know or accept any limits. They don’t settle for less than their ambitious goals. They are ready to do whatever it takes to reach them – because they want success so badly.
It’s good that they are so determined – because often, the most worthwhile accomplishments require a certain level of commitment to attain. After all, if a target were so easy and simple that anyone could hit it, would everyone really want to?
Every Dream Will Be Tested
These words, spoken by one of my mentors, made a deep and lasting impression on my mind. Because they are so true. When you dream of doing great things, reaching new heights, making a difference, creating enormous value, attaining rare levels of success, those dreams will definitely be tested.
And you can make them come true – provided you have what it takes, and are willing to give it your all.
My ambitious dream was to build an information business that would generate enough in profit to sponsor expensive heart surgery for under-privileged children. At the time I set out with this goal, nothing could have seemed more impossible or unreachable. I mean, here I was selling two or three ebooks every week…and a heart operation cost nearly $2,500.
But there was a special variable at play. My passionate purpose. And my determination to make it happen.
Slowly, steadily, things did happen. I moved up the scale of infopreneur success. Launched a series of products. Made more sales. Generated more profits.
That alone may not have helped – but then, synergy kicked in.
Every promotion I did for raising funds had a higher conversion rate than usual. A Government subsidy brought down the cost of an operation. Buyers of my ebooks were touched by the passion and purpose, and started telling their friends. Soon we had over 1,000 donors, each contributing a little amount of money to the fund.
And today, seven years later, I am happy to look back on 76 smiling little faces – all operated for heart defects from the “impossible and unreasonable” project that’s my online information business!
That’s because I wanted this badly enough.
You can do it too…with anything YOU want badly enough.
Is Success Easy?
Was it a cake-walk? Did things magically go right all the time? Was it always smooth sailing?
Absolutely not.
All along the path, there were obstacles to overcome. Some of them were major, many were minor. And for me, a few were nearly deal-breakers – like the recent series of incidents that almost brought it all crashing down (I blogged about it here, in “Scary, Intense, Yet Fun“).
But I was prepared. And ready. A great part of that was due to an amazing book called “Mountains Beyond Mountains” (suggested by my friend and mentor, best-selling author Guy Kawasaki). It’s a biography of Dr.Paul Farmer, one of the most inspiring people I’ve heard of, and whose non-profit ‘Partners In Health’ is touching the lives of thousands of downtrodden people in desperately poor countries like Haiti and parts of Africa.
“Mountains Beyond Mountains” is a book I recommend that every entrepreneur read – and keep for reference, from time to time. It teaches a timeless principle that every worthy goal or mission will be beset by a series of challenges to face and overcome. You scale a mountain, reach its peak, think you’ve arrived at the destination, only to look out and see more (and higher) peaks beyond.
You cannot see those from the bottom of the mountain. You can only see them once you’ve scaled the first peak. And when you do, you already have what it takes to try and climb the next one too.
The only thing that keeps you going is how badly you want to.
It’s what will carry you through – to sweet success!

Dare To Dream The Impossible
The following article titled "Believe In Ridiculous Dreams" is written by Heavy D
Some years back there was a young, ambitious, tenacious young man who wanted to rule the world. This young man and I grew up in the same town. I was slightly older by a couple of years but I had already begun to realize my dreams. This young man reminded me a lot of myself.
Some years back there was a young, ambitious, tenacious young man who wanted to rule the world. This young man and I grew up in the same town. I was slightly older by a couple of years but I had already begun to realize my dreams. This young man reminded me a lot of myself.
1. He believed in himself when no one else would.
2. He often felt like an outcast and alone because there was nobody around that he could share his "RIDICULOUS" dreams with and because most people couldn't see that far.
3. No one wanted to hang around this person because they found him either annoying or NUTZZZ!
4. He never quit, he never gave in to anyone's opinion of him. He'd rather be alone than give up on his dream.
Damn, "That was me," I said, that's how I felt when I was coming into my own and striving to realize my dreams. I did sound crazy. I did feel alone. Hell, I was crazy and still am. I know what this brother is going through.
"From now on..." I said to him, “You can roll with me ... tours, videos, studios, meetings. Just come hang out.” We became fast and close friends actually more like brothers than anything else. He called my mom "MOM" and I called his mom "MOM." Till this day it remains so.
I helped this young brother without any expectations for myself. It was just so reminiscent of my endeavor and of my lonely dreams that I felt like I had to help him. Now, I didn't know it at the time but I was mentoring this young brother. Again, for me it was just helping another brother out who wanted to do something bigger than anyone where we were from could realize.
We would sit for hours in my mom’s basement and talk so much sh** about what we would do with our first million dollars and the types of cars and houses we would buy. Today, I still laugh at the nerve we had. But that's what it took. NERVE!!
Funny thing about “passion,” it will lead you directly to your dreams. So yes, I mentored this young man, albeit indirectly.
Today, this young man is one of the most powerful, hard working, famous people on the planet. He's done things that I have never imagined doing myself. He is smart, shrewd, and still tenacious.
He has accomplished more than he and I ever discussed. He has gone on to create and even re-create some of the most recognizable brands and artists in the entertainment business.
He continues to break down barriers and change the game. Time and time again, he has faced adversity, criticism, hate, jealousy, ridicule and pain but he has always maintained his drive and his dream.
Today, he is now a mentor to many. And the irony is that he is even a mentor to me without him ever knowing it.
I am constantly inspired by this brother. I reflect sometimes on our many conversations as “dream chasers” and “outliers.”
I will never lay claim to the heights that he has brought himself to but I will say that if you or anyone you know has a "ridiculous" dream remember, it doesn't take much to encourage someone to go for that dream and this brother is living proof.
I have another friend who told me a great quote. Allow me to share it with you.
"BEING REALISTIC IS THE MOST COMMONLY TRAVELED ROAD TO MEDIOCRITY" -Will Smith
So, here I stand today proudly in the shadows of a true dreamer.
I salute you Mr. Sean “Diddy” Combs. And may you continue to dream, the "RIDICULOUS" dream...
BLESSINGS,
HEV

Quote of the Day
Don't limit yourself. Many people limit themselves to what they think they can do. You can go as far as you mind lets you. What you believe, you can achieve.

Create Your Own Vision Board
Remember how in a previous post I talked about the importance of taking a few minutes out of your day to just daydream of your future? Well I hope your doing that because by doing so you are following the law of attraction which is what we think about we will eventually attract. So keep doing that, and if your not then start. Today I want to present to you the idea of creating your own vision board. The purpose of the vision board is to bring your thoughts about the future into a physical item that you can see and feel. A vision board is a poster which includes pictures of what you will have in the future after you have accomplished your dreams. In other words it's the life you want to live. Therefore, collect as many pictures you can that represent what your future is going to look like and fill up your vision board. Make it look somewhat like an collage. After your done, I want you to view your vision board EVERY MORNING. Make it the first thing you look at right when you get out of bed. This will not only motivate you, but will re-gear your mind into focusing on doing things that will get you closer to the dream you have set out on your vision board.

Quote of the Day
“One important key to success is self-confidence. An important key to self-confidence is preparation.”– Arthur Ashe

Challenge of the Day
I challenge you today to go out and attempt something that you would never even dream of. The cache is it has to be something that you are AFRAID of doing. For example, if your a shy person than I want you to go out and talk to a bunch of people. Whatever your fear is go out and face it head on. Not only will this eliminate your fears, but it will get you out of your comfort zone. The biggest enemy to success is comfort. So get out there and just do it!

The Formula For Success
The point blank formula for success is the following:
Sweat + Sacrifice = Success
If your not willing to put in the hard work necessary and make the required sacrifices such as waking up earlier than unfortunately you will never become successful. That is the core truth. Success is not going to fall in your lap willingly. YOU have to get up and make it happen. Stop waiting for handouts and TAKE CHARGE of your life.

Tomorrows Not Promised...
We all are going to die some day, it could be tomorrow or in another 100 years. The unfortunate thing is that we don't know when we are going to leave this earth. I strongly believe that we were put on earth to reach for the stars and excel when pursuing our dreams. Therefore, I just want to tell you to never leave something for tomorrow which you can accomplish today. Don't procrastinate and put off things for later instead stay focused and driven. Take Tupac for example, he believed that his life was going to be a very short one so simply put he worked and worked and worked and would do as much as he could before he had to go. His work ethic was unbelievable and was a contributing factor in making him one of the best rap icons this world has ever seen!

Stop Doing The Same Old Things That Aren't Producing Results
Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. I find that we consciously and unconsciously repeat the same processes and have a belief engraved in are mind that if we just keep on doing this something will give and the result we seek will be fulfilled. Well unfortunately in life that is not how it works. So we need to stop banging our head against the brick wall and analyze the situation at hand and come up with another game plan. The key to life when something is not going our way is to not give up but to change up our actions. It could mean changing what were doing or something simple such as changing our perspective on things. Another simple and effective technique you can utilize is to simply look at the problem in another light and in doing so your mind will open up to a window of opportunities and solutions. Therefore, all of us need to stop doing the same old things that aren't creating the results that we desire and come up with new actions immediately.
