My Mindset When The Odds Are Against Me

We have all been in situations where the odds have been against us and our back is up against the wall. It's do or die and the odds are not in your favor. Me personally I LIVE FOR THESE MOMENTS. I love a challenge. It's my chance to prove everyone wrong by excelling.


The mindset that I have when the odds are against me can be summarized by the following lyrics from Tupac's song called "Against All Odds."


"AGAINST ALL ODDS I WILL PREVAIL..." It's simple as that failure is not an option. Fuck the odds, success is inevitable no matter what the odds say.

Hunger Is What Separates The Successful From The Mediocre

Say there is 10 people who are all trying to achieve a common goal. Now lets assume that the goal is pretty tough to accomplish. It's first come first serve. Only one person from the ten is going to get to accomplish this goal. The person who accomplishes this goal is arguably the same person who possess the most hunger. He/she wants it bad and is willing to do anything to accomplish the goal. Therefore, it all comes down to who is the most hungry. If you just "kind of want it" then your not going to become successful. You have to have a 100% conviction in accomplishing your goals and be willing to do whatever it takes. 

"When you want to succeed as bad as you want to breathe that's when you will become successful." 

Constant And Never-Ending Improvement

Your mind is a machine, and you need to build up the machine in order for it to perform at top notch level. Therefore, constantly be expanding your brain on a daily basis and improving yourself as a person. Learn something new everyday. 


Anthony Robbins refers to the idea of learning/improving everyday by using the word CANI which stands for constant and never-ending improvement. 


At the end of each day answer the following questions:
What Have I Learned Today?
What Did I Contribute Or Improve?
What Did I Enjoy?


If every single day you improve your ability to enjoy your life, then you will experience life at a level of richness most people never even dream of!

Separate Yourself From The Masses

When I was in middle school and it was time for graduation my teacher came up to me and gave me the best piece of advice that I want to share with all of you now, she said "separate yourself from everybody else if you want to become successful in life, make your own choices, and look out for your own future."


I did just that (eventually) and reached not only success in school but life in general. Therefore, I recommend that you get away from the "pack" because the "pack" doesn't have your future in mind, there not going to do what is right for you. Stop following and start leading.
You are the creator of your own destiny, GET AWAY from the masses and branch out on your own!
