The Importance of Having High Standards: Felix Dennis's Wealth Chart

It is very important that you set goals that are above and beyond your wildest dreams and to have high standards. Felix Dennis is one of the greatest British entrepreneurs and he set out to make a fortune and the following chart is his wealth chart. Notice the high standards he has. Where $200,000 may seem like a  lot of money for some people he classifies people who earn about $200,000 to be "the comfortable poor."

£50,000 - £200,000 The comfortable poor
£200,000 - £500,000 The comfortably off
£500,000 - £1 million The comfortably wealthy
£1 million - £5 million The lesser Rich
£5 million - £15 million The comfortably rich
£15 million - £35 million The rich
£35 million - £50 million The seriously rich
£50 million - £100 million The truly rich
Over £100 million The filthy rich and super rich

Set high standards, even if something seems to be impossible just come to the conclusion in your mind that you will obtain that and believe me once you make that decision it won't seem as impossible as you first thought and therefore, it will be quite achievable!

Quote of the Day

If your success is not on your own terms, if it looks good to the world but does not feel good in your heart, it is not success at all.

Never Settle When You Succeed

Never settle when you succeed because it has an expiration date on it. What I mean by this is when some people experience a little bit of success they begin to celebrate and get off the road to success. I'm not saying don't be happy about your successes, or don't celebrate, what I mean is don't get so caught up in it that it gets you off the road to your dreams. Celebrate if you may, but quickly move on so you can experience BIGGER and BETTER successes!

Keep celebrating and you will be travelling along the road of mediocrity, however if you rapidly move on then the rest of your life will be filled with memorable successes. Settle for one success and you are shooting yourself in the foot.
